Poem: Corrupted Eden
08 May 2014 at 06:37hrs | Views
When we chose them, we wanted leaders
Then they held gems, and where turned dealers
They were chosen for healing and they now live on stealing
To the last, of the widow's shilling
What has become of the world
Like a mother that beholds
The loss of her child born still
So are we as our end unfolds
Yet all we do at best is scorn
At the morals that yet exist in shreds
As if it'd help we are just forlorn
That the world has, so much blood shed!
Then they held gems, and where turned dealers
They were chosen for healing and they now live on stealing
To the last, of the widow's shilling
What has become of the world
Like a mother that beholds
The loss of her child born still
So are we as our end unfolds
Yet all we do at best is scorn
At the morals that yet exist in shreds
As if it'd help we are just forlorn
That the world has, so much blood shed!
