Jonathan Moyo appeals to Kagame, Mbeki, Mkapa to save Mugabe from coup persecution

Former Zanu PF politburo member Jonathan Moyo has appealed to the Rwandan President Paul Kagame, former South Africa President Thabo Mbeki, Benjamin Mkapa and other veteran politicians in Africa to intervene to save former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe form President Emmerson Mnangagwa's coup government.
This come at a time when Mugabe has faced verbal attacks and threats from Zanu PF activists for declaring the Mnangagwa administration as illegal.
Through tweet Moyo called on the African leaders to reach out to Mugabe to find out how he is fairingf under the coup administration which is harassing him.
"HE P. Kagame; HE C. Ramaphosa; HE T. Mbeki; HE B. Mkapa; HE O. Obasanjo; HE Y. Museveni and HE K. Annan," Moyo said.
"Coup rulers in Zimbabwe are persecuting your brother, Cde Mugabe. Plz check on him!"
