Chamisa debacle, Undermining the Nkomo rod and the way forward

11 Apr 2018 at 16:56hrs | Views
It is quite unfortunate that our young energetic president and man of the moment Chamisa has done it again. Last time it was about money from Trump's America that he said was going to be brought into Zimbabwe after winning elections. Few days later the American Ambassador in Zimbabwe had to address the issue saying that was a lie. Today the Nkomo family dispelled what Chamisa said about Father Zimbabwe as untrue. They actually said he lied. Oh gosh, a Presidential candidate making simple mistakes like that.

Chamisa has too much ambition. He needs an old person even more to tone down his moments. He must appoint Felix now and stop this bleeding. If Chamisa had proper guidance from elder people who worked with Nkomo, he wouldn't have made such mistakes. He definitely need the elderly to fire fight for him and coach him on good etiquette when it comes to cultural beings and the elderly. In the Ndebele culture like the shona culture the elders are respected.

Chamisa must also speak out against discrimination of the elders which is the only reason he has not appointed Felix as the vice president.

An investigation of the 2013 elections has revealed that Chamisa fielded a candidate against Felix Mafa Sibanda in Magwegwe and helped Thokozani Khupe using the henchman Joel Gabuzo. Ironically, Felix Mafa Sibanda is now the strong man who has handed Bulawayo to Chamisa. Sibanda lost the elections in Magwegwe because Chamisa and Khupe bused people in 6 busses from Mpopoma constituency and managed to rig the election against Mafa Sibanda.

Japhet Moyo who was bussed from Mpopoma confirms that 2013, Felix Mafa Sibanda was cheated in the primaries. " I live in Mpopoma but we got paid $20 to sit in a bus and go different districts and vote in primaries or cause commotion. Khupe was coaching us that we need all the old people out and Chamisa even Came and campaigned with Khupe.

The Chamisa and Khupe faction where bent on removing all old people from MDC-T. They managed to remove Felix from being a member of Parliament. He was however able to retain his seat as a provincial spokesman.

Felix Sibanda is honerable. He is yet to be appreciated the Chiwenga way after he single handedly announced that Bulawayo endorsement in favor of Chamisa against Khupe. Hale installed discipline and realistic outcomes in our Tribalist environment that could spell difficulties in edging off Zanu to the cliff had Khupe becomes delusional to believe he could win against Mnangagwa when infact she is working for Mnangagwa.

Khupe has been working for Mnangagwa for years, including how she suppressed the Gukurahundi bill paneled by Felix Magalela Mafa Sibanda in House of Parliament. She was instructed by Mnangagwa to kill the Gukurahundi bill and she did. Hence Sibanda has the wisdom to quickly snubb Khupe saving the party. Imagine the result had Khupe stayed. MDC T would be dead by now.

Despite this endorsement, Chamisa is yet to publicly apologize to Felix Sibanda for the collaborations he did with Khupe to cheat him in favor of an unknown Anele Ndebele, who is a distant cousin of Khupe.

Despite this treachery, Felix supported Chamisa as president of the party and still stood up for him honerably and yet he continues to snub him because he does not feel safe due to the sins he committed against the people of Magwegwe. The people of Magwegwe want Mafa Sibanda seat back. The people of Magwegwe and Matebeleland want Vice President Mafa Sibanda appointed now. Chamisa continues to make mistakes. Chamisa continues to misunderstand culture of Amandebele and has no adviser in this regard. He addressed the entire April 7th rally in shona and sang shona songs in a rally attended by people from as far as Gwanda. The entire rally felt like Gukurahundi all over again. The young man is conflicted. He tells us that he wants ndebele teachers in the region and yet comes to address Gukurahundi Style.

He still entertains the ideas of imposing his friend Bhekithemba Mpofu, a 43year old who lives in South Africa and disconnected from the hard work the locals have done for our party.

Chamisa, you owe Felix Sibanda a favor of loyalty and not only that, he is a pure heart that does not hold grudges. A national hero and a loyal party cadre who has fought Zanu-PF since 1980. A true son of Bulawayo, whose great grand father was Masonginyoka, the originals doctor of King Mzilikazi and whose son Thsokomela is buried at Felix Sibanda rural home of Mbembesi. How dare you play this discrimination game and continue to sink the MDC Alliance. How dare you continue to speak against the elder after you had already made him suffer in your collaboration with Khupe.

You must appoint Mafa Sibanda now before the party is destroyed. He saved the party from being destroyed by Khupe. Let him save you from destroying the party with your ambition that boils the ocean.

You are getting desperate and killing all the chances to unsit Zanu-PF. You are turning away all the people over 65 years old because you hate old people or you think energy and charisma and education and PhDs is all that matters. Remember politics is people.

Appoint Mafa now or we are not going to vote in this election. Appoint Felix now so that he can help you regain your soul and dignity. He can and will stop this bleeding.

All is not lost Mr president, we understand you are young and speak very fast but you need a voice of moderation in the aged.
We love you and want you to succeed.

PS. Stay away from those two drubkards that followed Tsvangirai. They're poisonous. They are lobbying Thabhita one city of kings. We have had Khupe for 14 years and that's enough of the drama. We want to win and let's not have a Nudist drink as President because Matebeleland will stay home.

We n
eed change. Chinja. Chamisa Chetechete as long as you change.
