VANCOUVER- Aggrieved former president, Robert Mugabe, is reportedly plotting to kill off President Emmerson Mnangagwa's hopes of legitimately becoming elected head of state in 10 days time, by publicly endorsing opposition MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa, to be voted president for the first time, Spotlight Zimbabwe, has been told.

According to a number of senior Zanu PF members and intelligence sources, Mugabe is allegedly planning to appear in a surprise MDC Alliance e-rally video platform, to garner nationwide support for Chamisa, and possibly decampaign Mnangagwa, whom he has accused of using military putsch tactics to ouster him from the presidency last November, barely eight months before his tenure in office was due to end.

Electronic rallies or e-rally, is a unique form of internet activism, which is sometimes referred to as digital campaigning, involving the use of electronic communication technologies such as social media, to enable faster and more effective communication by citizen movements,to large and specific audiences.
Chamisa made his first e-rally presentation and appearence on youtube, on 11 July 2018.

"Mugabe is a political fox," said one of the ruling party senior members working close to the Office of The President and Cabinet. "The old man feels that he's literally under house arrest and that his movements are being monitored by the military, therefore he has been advised to pull this e-rally shocker, by strategists working to form a coalition between the MDC Alliance and the National Patriotic Front Party."
Spotlight Zimbabwe, can also reveal that, should everything go according to plan, Mugabe is likely to make the e-rally post next weekend, which is a few days before the much anticipated historic presidential and parliamentary elections, for "maximum effect".
