Zim EFF statement of South Africa's elections

It is with enthusiasm that we express our support for the Economic Freedom Fighters in the coming general elections in South Africa. We as the Zimbabwe Economic Freedom Fighters endorse and share EFF's vision to deliver hope and inspiration to the people of South Africa, the continent and beyond. The struggle for economic freedom and economic emancipation is for all black people in the continent and beyond. We believe that EFF is dedicated to changing the economic and social lives of the people of South Africa. It is 25 years since South Africa attained political independence, tragically the political freedom has not translated into visible economic emancipation for the majority of South African particularly Black South Africans. The majority of South Africans, mainly black people remain dispossessed economically with the vast tracks of land still in the hands of those who benefitted through the evils of the "baasskap" system.
The people of South Africa have had ample opportunities in the past weeks to listen to and ask politicians questions about their vision and plans for the future of the country. We believe that EFF has shown great concern and understanding of the problems that face the underprivileged, dispossessed and downtrodden people of South Africa. Too many Black South Africans are landless and jobless. The economic deprivation among Black South Africans has become a source of shame and humiliation across the continent and beyond. Notwithstanding that most African countries have similar problems moreso in our own country Zimbabwe. We as Zim EFF, without fear, stand shoulder to shoulder with EFF calling for land expropriation without compensation in South Africa. It is inconceivable to see how those who benefitted from a system which allowed for the domination of Black people by White people , a system that legalised the theft of Black people's natural wealth and their natural dignity - it will be a shame and humiliation of the highest order to compensate or pay to take back what was stolen from our people . If that were to happen, it will be the greatest betrayal of all those who died fighting for Black emancipation and economic freedom in South Africa.
South Africa is at the crossroads, the country is at the cusps of history. The people of South Africa have clear choices in this election. They can choose more of the same represented by the underachieving ANC, nolstagic of the basskaap years DA or the progressive, transformative and radical EFF. The choices cannot be clearer. It is up to the people of South Africa to exercise their democratic rights to vote for the political party of their choice on the 8th of May. We as Zim EFF fully endorse EFF for their visionary , people-driven policies which are clearly designed to address issues of social justice , economic justice , improve education , health care delivery , fight corruption , expropriate land without compensation , create jobs , drive inclusive development for the benefit of many , preserve the dignity of the Black people in South Africa who have for many years suffered shame and humiliation .
Zim EFF , here and now call upon , compatriots of Zimbabwean origin eligible to vote in South Africa in the coming elections to VOTE for EFF. EFF is for : black empowerment , black people's economic emancipation , dignity for all black people in the continent and beyond , pursuing regional economic integration with a view to easing economic trade within the African continent , rejection of xenophobia and promotion of peaceful co-existence of all people who live in South Africa and EFF will fight for a boarderless Africa and a single currency in the medium to long term .We therefore strongly recommend that a VOTE for EFF is an investment for South Africa and the continent as a whole . EFF is well led by fearless, visionary, hardworking, selfless and inspirational leadership under the capable command of Commander in Chief Julius Malema.
Zim EFF commends and applauds EFF for conducting a peaceful, enthusiastic and people-driven election campaign! We would also like to thank other political parties for showing tolerance of divergence of views during this election campaign. We hope that this will translate into the post-election period. We would also like to thank the people of South Africa who have shown and continued to show great enthusiasm in this election campaign and who have shown tolerance to each other.
Zim EFF Commander in Chief Innocent Ndibali will be attending the EFF Tshela Thupa rally on the 5th of May – to offer support and solidarity to EFF on behalf of Zim EFF.
