'Those calling for Tsvangirai's ouster are wasting their time,' says Sikhala

It is by far the truth. Gentle people you have severally asking me my opinion on what should happen to re ignite the goals and aspirations of bringing change in Zimbabwe. You have been asking me about my thoughts about leadership renewal in the opposition ranks.

I will give my thoughts fearlessly once and for all and would wish those with historical records should record it, so that when it comes to pass you will prove me wrong. I understand MDC politics deeper than many who have never been intimately involved in the internal intrinsic issues of the party.

Firstly l will bet my last dollar that those who are calling from Morgan Tsvangirai's ouster are wasting their time. He will be with us today, tomorrow, in 2018 and even in 2023 elections. Anyone calling for leadership renewal in the party will be assaulted the hell out of him. Those individuals are going to be hugely vilified as ZANU PF extension wishing to destroy the face and the brand of the party. They will be circled by vultures of huge political appetite.

Tendai Biti and Elias Mudzuri are as currently happening defined as treacherous elements who will be sniffed out of the party at the 2016 congress. Obert Gutu and Douglas Mwonzora who are currently on the warpath with these individuals suspected to be holding clandestine meetings at the Palm Lodge in the Avenues will aspire to be Secretary General of the party and one of them alternating either as the party spokesman.

The crescendo will intensify as 2016 approaches and those wishing renewal will be labelled to be using diamonds money from ZANU PF. A huge exodus of disgruntled cadres of the party like one Kalulu who recently inboxed me will either join other political parties or like what he said was about to go to ZANU PF.

Come elections in 2018, l know what will happen to the outcome but not comfortable to say it out. Again there will never be any renewal, Tsvangirai will be there waiting for the 2023 elections. Those calling for leadership renewal, frankly speaking, you are wasting your time. You won't be able to stand the vilification onslaught and the terror to be unleashed. You are fighting a losing battle. I think l have clearly answered you guys who were soliciting for my opinion.
