NUST scoops Awards - Congratulation on your massive achievements

Bulawayo24 News team would like to congratulate the Vice Chancellor Prof L R Ndlovu and The National University of Science and Technology on winning several prestigious awards with various highly recognised organisations.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. L R Ndlovu has won three awards as a Top Manager and Top Vice Chancellor of the Year 2014, while NUST has as well won 3 top of the tier awards from ZITF, Zimbabwe Institute of Managers, ZNCC and Megafest Business Awards.

We hope that NUST will continue to produce graduands who will be leaders in the development of world class technology and business initiatives in Zimbabwe and beyond.

NUST accolades:

-   In March 2015, at the Megafest National Business Awards, the Vice-Chancellor was voted Second Runner Up in the Category of Zimbabwe's Top Vice-Chancellor of the Year 2014 and received a trophy and a certificate.

-   In March 2015, at the Megafest National Business Awards, the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) was voted Top Outstanding Training Institution of the Year 2014 and the University was awarded a trophy and a certificate.

-   In April 2015, at the Zimbabwe Institute of Management (ZIM), the Vice-Chancellor was voted ZIM Public Manager of The Year 2014, Matabeleland Region and was awarded a trophy and a certificate.

-   In April 2015, at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), NUST was judged the Best Institution, Education and Training ZITF 2015 and received a Gold Medal, a Trophy and a certificate.

-   In April 2015, at ZITF, NUST stand was voted the Best Zimbabwe Exhibit and received the President's Award for Premier Zimbabwe Exhibit and was awarded The Premier Trophy a Gold Medal and a certificate.

-   In May 2015, at the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNGC) Annual Dinner and Business Awards, NUST was awarded a Shield, a Certificate and Miniature Trophy for Tertiary Service Provider of The Year, Matabeleland Region.

-   The University has already been told that later in June 2015, NUST will receive, from PMR.Africa (a Regional Organisation) a Diamond Arrow Award for best in Education and Training in Zimbabwe, 2014.

-   On 5 June 2015 at the Zimbabwe Institute of Management (ZIM) National Dinner and Awards Function, the Vice-Chancellor was voted Manager of the Year 2014 Public Service Winner at National level.
