19 Jan 2012 at 00:25hrs | Views
My name is Stella Hope, Director of Admissions at the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance (HEA). HEA is a platform for young African social, business, and political entrepreneurs educated in leading colleges and universities in Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa.
In partnership with international corporations such as Intel, GlaxoSmithKline, and Nestle, the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance is providing summer grants and paid internships to young African business students and recent graduates with entrepreneurial initiatives in Africa.
The Dalberg Group is now offering internships to Associates of our Alliance in Dakar, Johannesburg and Nairobi. For more information please read: Harambe Dalberg Internship. Also, in partnership with GlaxoSmithKline and SEACOM, we are offering the Harambe GSK Fellowships, as well as the Harambe SEACOM Fellowship, summer grants for African students and young professionals with health-related initiatives across Africa.
If you have come across any young African business students who can benefit from these opportunities and our mentorship program of established African professionals and entrepreneurs in Asia, Europe and North America, please enter their name and email address at healliance.org/nomination, or simply forward them this email. You may nominate as many students as you'd like.
Final selection will be made from a competitive pool of over 1000 applicants, so your nomination will be an essential component of our decision-making process. Selected applicants will be invited to attend our 5th Annual Symposium at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Yale, and Bretton Woods, taking place March 30-April 2, 2012.
