Twenty one goals scored. 7 wins and 1 draw, 4 away wins and 3 home wins. In terms of goals, Dembare were the biggest winners, the five goals they scored turned out to be one more than the number of games they had failed to find the net in five games, but the five goals quickly improved their goal average to one goal per game, the best is that of Caps Utd at 2.4 per game. For Dembare it was only their second win of the season, they conceded for the first time in four league games. The big victory however went to Shabanie mine after they beat fellow miners Hwange 3-2 at Maglas stadium in Zvishavane. It was their first win of the season, not just the first win, but they also scored for the first time this season in five games. They found the net for the first time after 364 minutes of football. They did not only score the three goals on the day but scored in their own net for Hwange's second goal through a flicking header by their captain Tafadzwa Mombeshora. It was a special goal as it marked a century of goals in the league. To date the league has witnessed 106 goals.

Caps Utd, FC Platinum, Kiglon returned to winning ways. With the victory Caps Utd returned to the top of the league.

Motor action continued with their revival. They have suffered one defeat and conceded one goal in that particular defeat to shooting stars, while for Blue Ribbon it was their second defeat in a row, after going undefeated in their opening four games.

Shooting Stars continued to struggle with their 5th defeat of the season in six games, with just one win, that coming over motor action. For Bosso it was their 3rd win of the season, they are unbeaten in the in their last four league games and in their last six games in all competitions. Two of their wins have come away from home in the capital and have just one league win at home. Vincent Nzombe scored the winner with a powerful header, his first in Bosso colours this season.

Black Mambas is another struggling team with a 4th defeat of the season, at home to FC Platinum who put aside the death of their coach last week, to mark a return to winning ways with goals from Khumbu Banda and a brace from Benjamin Marere. They had lost their last league match away to Dembare in the capital. Gunners suffered their third defeat in a row, after opening with two draws- something must be wrong for the team that is using LAFARGE as its home ground this season. Gunners and Hwange are the teams yet to taste a win this season. Little was expected from Kiglon having built a new squad, they are picking valuable points, and recorded only their second win of the season, after beating Dembare on week 1 of the season. The thumping of Masvingo was their first defeat of the season, Chicken inn unbeaten run also came to an end. It now means that all the teams in the league have tasted defeat.

Zim saints is unbeaten in their last three games, they are unbeaten at home, a big worry will be that after playing three games in a row at home, they managed just one win over Blue Ribbon at white city stadium and the two draws at Luveve stadium. Maybe Chikwata should use white city stadium? Monomatapa recorded a third draw in row, it was their fourth draw of the season. With a single victory, 1-0 over Bosso and a defeat at the hands FC Platinum 3-0,they are proving to draw specialist, alongside with Hwange who have drawn four games as well.

1. Teams yet to win- Gunners, Hwange2. Most goals scored- Caps utd- 16 goals3. Best defence - Motor Action- 1 goal conceded4. Worst defence- Shabanie- conceded 14 goals5. Worst strikeforce- Gunners- just one goal6. Most draws – Hwange and Monomutapa- 4 draws7. Most wins - Caps Utd, Chicken Inn, Motor Action- 4 wins

Wednesday fixture

FC PLATINUM VS SHABANIE- MAGLAS.

It is the Zvishavane derby. It is a game that can go either way. FC Platinum have lost once in four games to Dynamos- away and Shabanie not only scored for the first time, but also won for the first time this season- in their last game. After watching Shabanie in their first win, I think they can surprise FC Platinum, especially if Rowen Nenzou is at his best as he was in the Hwange game. For them to achieve the victory , they will have to work on their defence, it was not at its best against Hwange, and if it was not for missed chances by Hwange stikers Siza Dube and Tongai Magwedere, Hwange would have earned at least a point. My worry is their defence, and facing Benjamin Marere and Charles Sibanda, I predict a victory for FC Platinum.
