5-year-old Zim boy makes water heater using small battery

06:25, 8 Feb - +263 77 750 2336: We where shocked yesterday when our ECD B boy child (5yr old) made a water heater using a battery and other improvised resources.
The boy sneaked away with our small battery that we use for phone charging and set up his experiment at the back of the house. When I was called to see and address the boy's mischief as usual, I saw the 'water heater' and small bubbles were visible, continuously rising and disappearing. By then ,the boy was playing with his friends.
We called him and he gave his story. We live in Sengwe area in Chiredzi. Our child is only exposed to actual electrical gadgets when we take him to Chiredzi on holidays. He has a very strong passion of working with broken or disposed of electrical and household appliances.
