DJ Smoove dies

Acclaimed club disc jockey Deon Fulton has died.
Popularly known on the club scene as Dj Smoove, Fulton died in a car crash this morning near Sam Levy's Village on his way home from Helensvale.
The well-travelled DJ Smoove was now a resident DJ at the newly opened Club H2O at Sam Levy's Village.
Lyndon Kapuya, Club H2O manager, confirmed Fulton's death saying the deceased was driving home alone but lost control of his vehicle and rammed into a ditch dying on the spot.
He said funeral arrangements are yet to be finalised.
Besides the guest appearances on radio, Dj Smooves also staged tours in Belgium, Brussels, the United Kingdom and the United States.
His death comes at a time when he had released his first single and the album was due for release next year. The single off the album titled "DJ Chronicles Vol 1" featured the reggae-dancehall track that features vocalist Gianna Charles. The tracks were recorded in Amsterdam, Holland and Brussels, Belgium during his tour in 2010.
Recently, he was part of the Universal Music tour of the United States where the dreadlocked Dj joined other internationally acclaimed DJs.
Dj Smoove was one of the sought-after mix-masters and a genius on the turn tables to emerge from Zimbabwe. He has shared the decks with the some of the world's famous artistes in the likes of Jay Z, Neptunes, Erykah Badu, Destiny's Child as well as DJs among them Fatman Scoop, Clue and Envy.
