Zimbabwe movies and Entertainment on UK TV

Since the Makosi Show on Vox Africa in the last year or so there has been a dry spell of Zimbabwean content on U.K screens and Zollywood Limited have struck yet another deal with Vox Africa sky 218, which will ensure for the next 24 months every last Saturday of the Month at 9p.m, we will be watching Zimbabwean Movies and Music Videos on our screens for Zimbabweans based in the U.K and elsewhere. The Zimbabwean Film and Music Industry is growing and Tony Mliswa (Zollywood Director)expressed that

'With such huge talent in Zimbabwe we should reach out to a huge and different audience, it's great to be well known back in Zimbabwe but the world is a huge oyster and we need to explore it. They are really good films being made by Zimbabweans in Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans overseas and we need to get these movies out there if we really going to grow as a film industry and become a force to be reckoned with. We will be reaching to an audience we would never had reached and Vox Africa have that platform to reach to a greater audience in the Europe, Africa and America, three continents at the same time, they do have great coverage and it's a fantastic opportunity for us to explore'.

Zollywood Limited in association with Stageworks have collaborated with  the Zimbabwean Music Industry to also showcase Zimbabwean Music Videos.Ezeecast is a new Zimbabwean Entertainment Show the will air first before the Movie shows. Ezeecast hosted by the Award winning Zimbabwean U.K based Producer Tawanda Sibotshiwe a.k.a Jusa is an Entertainment Show which will be  packed with Music video reviews, news and clues on what currently hot from Zimbabwe's finest.

Zollywood Movies and Ezeecast Show will be launching on Saturday the 29th of October at 2100hrs on Vox Africa Sky 218 in the U.K, Vox Africa also airs on Dstv191, Gotv 16 in Africa in the following countries Nigeria, Ghana Uganda,Kenya,Congo,Uganda and Equatorial guinea.

So the line-up will be: Ezeecast: 2100hrs and Zollywood Movie: 2115hrs  and thereafter it will be Every last Saturday of the Month and the same line-up.



Vox Africa currently beams out to over 100 million households over three continents (USA, Africa and Europe). This coverage is the biggest any Zimbabwean entertainment broadcast show has at this time. Vox Africa Television channel based in the United Kingdom that airs on Sky 218, Vox Africa also airs on Dstv191, Gotv 16 in Africa in the following countries Nigeria, Ghana Uganda, Kenya, Congo, Uganda and Equatorial guinea.
