In a bid to produce professional musicians, the Zimbabwe College of Music on Monday launched a state of the art recording studio in Harare.
The move is in line with the college's investment plan towards profitable entrepreneurship and self sustainability for musical students and the community at large.
Zimbabwe College of Music Executive Director, Rachel Chigwanda noted that the studio will help to produce adequately trained professional music artists.
The Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Dr Lazarus Dokora said the music recording studio has come at such a time when his ministry is celebrating the introduction of the new curriculum.
Zimbabwe College of Music's vision is to produce music art professionals and in that regard, counts musicians such as Hope Masike, Rute Mbangwa and Dudu Manhenga among its graduates.
