Award winning South African gospel musician Solly Mahlangu, who is in the capital ahead of his performance at Harare Gardens on Saturday, says local gospel music is poised for greatness.
Mahlangu who is riding high on the wave of his latest album "Mwamba Mwamba" is in the capital for a gospel concert to close a local church's week long crusade.
In an interview, Mahlangu who praised the local gospel scene and the superstar Oliver Mtukudzi said he is ready to rock his Harare fans with new and old songs that have earned him four awards.
Mahlangu scooped four awards in South Africa and the United Kingdom in 2012.
This will be Mahalngu's fourth show in the country and he will share the stage with Sebastian Magacha, Mathias Mhere, the Charambas and Shiloh Praise among others.
