All-Star performance at the Joburg inaugural ZAA

The prestigious Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg is the venue for the inaugural MoneyGram Zimbabwe Achievers Awards South Africa, organizers have announced.
"In keeping with ZAA tradition of providing a premium quality awards show, we are setting the bar high with the South Africa edition. We believe the achievements of our community deserve to be celebrated in only the best way possible, thus we will do exactly that," said ZAA Chairman Conrad Mwanza
The Inaugural ZAA Gala Dinner will take place on Saturday the 8th of November and will hosted by Radio legend Bertha Charuma and Yellow card star, Leeroy Gopal. The tickets are still available at various Computicket outlets, including Shoprite Checkers, House & Home, as well as www.computicket.com atR750 for a gold ticket and R1 000 for a platinum ticket.
"We have put together an exceptionalcombination of artists to perform at the gala dinner including comedian John Vlismas, female hiphop artist Nadia Nakai, gospel artist Mkhululi Bhebhe who are all nominated for various categories on the night. Also set to perform is local star and Motswako pioneer Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP) and a grand performance by Zimbabwean musical icon Oliver Mtukudzi." The ZAA SA CEO, Richard Moyo highlighted
Guests will arrive to a champagne reception and settle down to a scrumptious three-course meal prepared by head chef Gordon Fraser. A red carpet photo opportunity to capture glamorous moments will also be available.
"There will be an after party at a venue yet to be disclosed therefore guests can look forward to partying in style until the wee hours of morning," stated a committee member.
The inaugural Zimbabwe Achievers Awards kicked off in 2011 at the state of the art Mermaid Theatre in Blackfriars. Since then, the red carpet event has enjoyed phenomenal growth as a gala dinner at some of London's leading hotels. Now Johannesburg welcomes ZAA.
