Man in trouble for torturing 1-year-old child

A man from Killarney Bulawayo is in trouble for torturing the now one year old child.
Andrew Sitshela (28) was not asked to plead to the charge of child abuse when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate and the matter was placed off remand.
The court was told that on December 11 2016 8am the accused was nursing a ten months old baby at the time.
He got irritated by the child who was continuously crying and he assaulted him with an unknown object resulting in him breaking a thigh.
His mother later discovered that the child had been injured and took him to hospital before reporting to the police. This lead to the accussed's arrest.
