A MAN from Bulawayo's Emganwini suburb was found in possession of eight p*rnographic discs in his house.
Phillip Nyamutamba, 28, appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Themba Chimiso charged for possessing prohibited materials.
Prosecuting Whatmore Tembo said the discs found in Nyamutamba's house were obscene and indecent.
The court heard that on May 1 around 9AM, Constable Livingstone Ndoka received information that Nyamutamba was selling dagga.
The policeman then teamed up with other law enforcement agents and went to Nyamutamba's house.
They conducted a search leading to the recovery of the obscene materials.
Nyamutamba pleaded guilty.
"I admit having p*rnography discs. I watch the discs alone in my room," he said.
Magistrate Chimiso fined Nyamutamba $100 or 30 days in prison in case of default.
