Stealing from Air force member leads man into trouble

A man who decided to steal cash amounting to $200 and a cellphone worth $15 from a member of the Air force of Zimbabwe landed himself into trouble as he was arrested and dragged to court charge with theft.

James Majambira (23) of Sizinda in Bulawayo was not asked to plead to a charge of theft when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Sheunesu Matova. The magistrate remanded the matter to July 31 for trial.

The court heard that on July 14 2015 at 11:50am Majambira stole cash amounting to $200 and a Sumsung cellphone woth $15 which were placed on a Sofa at Mashapaidze Vance (23) of Somerton in Bulawayo who is employed by the Air Force of Zimbabwe at HQ ONe Brigade in Bulawayo.

He had allegedly went to the place to ask for water to drink and later stole the money and mobile phone. A report made to the police led to his arrest.
