ZimPF to participate in Bikita West by-election

Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) has resolved to participate in the Bikita West by-election which will be held in January next year party spokesperson Jealousy Mawarire confirmed.
After months of indecision the party has finally resolved to field a candidate in the constituency which was left vacant following the incarceration of Munyaradzi Kereke in June for raping his minor relative.
"We are going to contest as a party, but we are in the process of selecting a candidate," said Mawarire.
Ealier in September the party was plunged into turmoil when Claudius Makova announced that they were going to field Kudakwashe Gopo a former Zanu PF provincial executive member as the candidate.
The nomination court for the by-election have since been conducted.
