Mthwakazi Republic Party leader Mqondisi Moyo and his team has visited an Ex-Zipra cadre Ndabezinhle Dube in Khozi village of Gwanda North who is credited with the ability of repairing the AK 47 guns during the liberation struggle.
According to MRP spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo the team MRP paid a courtesy call at Dube's home stead last week.
"Mqondisi Moyo who is MRP President and Matobo North Parliamentary candidate today spent time doing door to door campaign and meeting the people. He also held a private meeting with the MRP Matobo district executive members and traditional leaders and planned a campaign rally in June," he said.
"Moyo later went to Gwanda North where he met MRP Candidate for Gwanda North Cde Mcebisi Dube who is also a son to Ndabezinhle Dube. MRP leadership that include National and Matabeleland South executive members were also in attendance when the President honored Ndabezinhle Dube who is also a former National President of Union for Furnisher and Lumber Industries from 1985 to 1999. Dube is now a respected elder in Brethren in Christ Church (BICC) is now 80 years old."
Ndabezinhle Dube is a victim of Gukurahundi genocide, the 5th brigade solders burnt down his homestead in 1984 and he never joined ZANU PF.
He operated in Zipra side by side with Gideon Moyo the father to Mqondisi Moyo, the MRP President. Both didn't benefit anything from the war veteran's compensation fund.
"Dube thanked us saying he is now a happy man knowing that the future of Mthwakazi is brighter since the young people of Mthwakazi have awakened and are now pursuing their birth right and inheritance that is in the wrong hands," Gumbo said.
"Dube also told us that he is a professional furnisher carpenter, during the Liberation struggle against white colonialists he was the one who was maintaining broken butts of Zipra's AK 47 guns, RPK machine guns and the Russian made grunov machine guns. Most Zipra cadres who operated in Matabeleland South knows him very well. Yet he didn't benefit any cent. He was only compensated by the 5th brigade by beating and abusing his wife as well as beating his children."
He said most villagers said Mthwakazi Restoration is the only solution that would free all of us.
"MRP is preparing for a Matabeleland South take over and we say NO to ZANU PF. After 2018 elections the whole of Matabeleland and Midlands will be a liberated zone from both ZANU PF and MDC- T. MRP will still hold its sensitisation road show soon in Gwanda central, a rally has been planned for Dodo Business centre Matobo North constituency in June as well as Mtshazo Business centre in Gwanda North also in June. The month of June is going to be a busy month for MRP as we will be vigorously engaging our people. Bulawayo Province has also promised a serious engagement with the Mthwakazi Nationals," he said.
"On the 28th of May 2017 Team MRP will hold a Rally in Jo'burg's Yeoville Recreational centre in South Africa. All members are encouraged to be active in campaigns for we want to win and make a mark that shall change Mthwakazi's direction and future of the Nation. So far there is no Mthwakazi person with normal senses who can be against Mthwakazi Restoration."
