THERE was drama at the tollgate near Inkomo Barracks along the Harare-Chinhoyi highway-as two married men allegedly fought over a girlfriend early this month. The parties in this roadside drama include married men Australia-based Nyasha Mashiri (37), and Munenzva bus driver, Rushmore Marova (43). The actress is Vimbai Erica Tsimba, a businesswoman running a stall at Mupedzanhamo Flea Market.
According to one version of events, Vimbai was tracked from Chinhoyi by Marova who had been tipped of her trip with Nyasha, who had wanted to inspect to view one of his houses under construction in Chinhoyi. Nyasha, whose family is in Australia, has been in Zimbabwe for a while. Marova is now understood to have assigned his brother to monitor Vimbai's movements, especially at No. 6223, Unit J, Chitungwiza.
When H-Metro visited Marova in Chitungwiza he ordered his brother to lock the gate before he opened up over the cellphone fearing the cameras.
Marova CONFIRMED that they have since resolved issues with Nyasha.
"Why do you poke your nose in other people's privacy. We have since ironed out our differences with Nyasha and I wonder where you got the story and I suspect it is the work of my brothers who are fighting me. Vimbai is now my second wife and it will not change. She is not my small house but my wife and I never snatched her from Nyasha if he is unhappy with that he can take the matter to the police. Hazvirambidzwe kuita vakadzi vakawanda wazvinzwa," said Marova.
Marova's wife, Takesure Magwaza, had no kind words for Vimbai whom she accused of snatching her husband using charms.
"Vimbai is a marriage wrecker and she always calls me insulting me after snatching my husband. She told me that she used a charm, water from dead bodies, to lure Marova and he will never leave her even if he finds her bedding another boyfriend. Vimbai told me that she is ready to have Nyasha's baby who will be looked after by Marova when he leaves the country. She told me that she used her buttocks to pick up some of the charms she used on Marova," said Takesure.
Nyasha told H-Metro that Vimbai was his long time girlfriend before he parted ways with her. He also CONFIRMED that he had a heated debate with Marova over Vimbai.
"I do not know who told Marova that I was around before he panicked and started looking for me. I had been going out with Vimbai for a long time before I went to Australia and many people know that. Someone gave Marova my contacts and he called me and we agreed that the affair was over please. I was not the one with Vimbai by the toll gate I am surprised to hear from people and I believe they want to frustrate Marova. After all Vimbai is not Marova's wife they are just bonking," said Nyasha.
Vimbai told H-Metro that Marova is now her official husband and denied ever dating anyone by the name Nyasha.
"Do not call me Vimbai I am Mai Marova please. I do not remember dating anyone by the name Nyasha and I am not the one who was found with that person at a toll gate because that day I was somewhere else not along Lomagundi Road," said Vimbai.
