The Zimbabwe Amalgamated Churches Council has attacked former cabinet minister Patrick Zhuwao for seeking to torch hate with the new administration.
The Zimbabwe Amalgamated Churches Council patron Mr Jimayi Muduvuri said Zhuwao 's utterances on social media and quoted by some media houses is a mischievous attempt to inflame unnecessary hate.
Mr Muduvuri said for Zhuwao to speak about Zanu PF not going to win elections or not is a spiteful effort meant to seek relevance in an era that has no place for him.
The church and the government have a relationship anchored from time immemorial and an obligation to unite the people despite the differences in doctrines and denominational systems, concurred Apostle Joel Manyange of The Well International Ministry and Bishop Rodreck Makusha of Deep Life Ministries who pledged to work with the new dispensation for increased peace and development.
The church has played the role in praying for peace, nation building and unity for states.
