FORMER X Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu has been confirmed in the line-up for Merseyside music event, Pop Factory Live.
The former favourite is set to join Lloyd Daniels and Stacey Solomon at Southport Theatre on April 16.
Zimbabwe-born Gamu was a favourite to win the X Factor after her modern twist on Walking on Sunshine, but the show faced a huge backlash when judge Cheryl Cole did not pick her for the live final, instead choosing Katie Waissel, Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson.
During the debate, which was dubbed "Gamu-gate" more than 210,000 fans signed up to a Facebook page supporting the singer.
