Six men arrested for carrying explosives

Six men have been arrested by the Zimbabwe republic police over alleged illegal possession and transportation of explosives.
Police recovered 29 emulite explosives and loose dagga.
The incident occurred along the Bulawayo – Harare road near Norton. The suspects were arrested when their car was searched by police officers and they found the recovered items.
It is unclear what the explosives were to be used for but speculation is that they were for mining.
ZRP said explosives are dangerous and should be handled with care by people who are properly licensed to do so.
In April Police at the Beitbridge border post in Limpopo arrested a woman for allegedly trying to smuggle explosives into South Africa.
The 38-year-old woman was nabbed when the bus she was traveling in was searched upon crossing the SA border.
Police found 200 units of Superpower 90 Blasting cartridges, which was wrapped in her luggage inside plastic bags.
