Man rapes niece (14) to get even with wife for dancing with another man at G-Spot

A Vic Falls man allegedly raped his wife's 14-year-old niece as a way of getting even with his wife for dancing with another man at a nightclub .
The man, whose name has been withheld to protect the minor has been arrested.
He was reportedly so angry after the dance that he left his wife at the nightspot and rushed home to rape the girl.
He allegedly threatened to kill the girl if she told anyone.
Confirming the incident, which happened during the early hours of 29 July, police spokesperson for Matabeleland North, Inspector Billie Dube, said the suspect was arrested on Sunday.
He said blood-stained clothes that the girl had been wearing on the day she was raped, sold the man out six days later.
"The niece visited the couple on 28 July to collect a jersey that she had left during an earlier visit. They asked her to sleep over after discovering that it had become dark outside. Later during the night, the couple left for G-Spot night club, where there was a ladies nite gig, and left the girl sleeping at their house," said Insp Dube.
He said the two had a misunderstanding following a dance at about 2am.
"The accused had a harsh exchange of words with his wife before storming out of the night spot. He proceeded home where he grabbed the sleeping girl and allegedly raped her once," he said.
The police spokesperson said when the wife got home, she took her niece and went to sleep at a friend's house, to avoid further fighting, unaware that she had been raped. "The girl only told her aunt that the man had fondled her breasts. At home she told her mother that the man had stripped her naked," he said.
Insp Dube said the woman was shocked to find blood-stained clothes belonging to her niece, hidden under a sofa on Tuesday last week.
"She confronted her niece who revealed that she had been raped by her husband. A report was made to police at Victoria Falls Police Station the next day and the man was arrested," he said.
Insp Dube said the girl had been taken to Victoria Falls Hospital for a medical check up and report, while police carried out investigations.
