Bindura elects new mayor

Bindura Mayor Carlos Tokyo (MDC Alliance) and his deputy Nobert Dhokotera (MDC A) have been shown the exit door from council duties.
As MDC T continue to pounce on Nelson Chamisa affiliated members, Tokyo and his deputy Dhokotera who was serving a suspension are the latest casualties.
Ward 5 Councilor Brian Kembo assumes office and is to be deputised by Tongai Jack.
Bindura District Development Coordinator Mr Richard Chipfuva who was the chief presiding officer of the elections confirmed that due procedure has been followed leading to the developments
