Businessman fingered in kidnapping juvenile for ritual purposes

In a shocking incident, a Muzarabani businessman is being accused of sending a villager to kidnap and kill a juvenile for ritual purposes in Mashonaland Central province.
The businessman Josiah Hungwe (68) was implicated by Richard Million (27) who was caught kidnapping a five-year-old boy.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the case.
Allegations are that on November 19 at Saraoga village, Muzarabani the accused followed the minor who was coming from school and threw him in a stream.
Million was unlucky after the minor's uncle spotted him kidnapping the boy.
The uncle shouted for help and citizen arrest was effected on Million before being surrendered to the police.
Upon being quizzed, Million told the police that he was working under Hungwe's instructions.
Hungwe was arrested and he refuted the claim saying Million is mentally ill and is his former employee.
