2 hrs ago | Views

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development has announced the temporary closure of a section of E.D. Mnangagwa Road at Highland Park to facilitate critical infrastructure upgrades.
The closure will run from 3 PM on Saturday, 13 September, until 6 AM on Monday, 15 September.
According to the ministry, the shutdown is required to allow for the installation of a 250mm sewer pipe and the construction of a pedestrian bridge. The works will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, including Ridgeway North and Ridgeway South, Boscobel Road, Hurworth Road, and Arcturus Road. Clear signage and traffic controllers will be deployed to guide traffic and ensure safety.
The ministry has urged road users to exercise caution when approaching the affected area and to comply with instructions from traffic management personnel.
