Former Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa was involved in a road traffic accident near Harare Polytechnic along Prince Edward Road on Tuesday.
According to witnesses at the scene, Mliswa's Mercedes-Benz vehicle struck a pedestrian, who was seen bleeding from the head following the collision. The injured person was attended to at the scene as authorities moved in to manage the situation.
Eyewitnesses said Mliswa appeared restless and was making several phone calls when police officers arrived.
