A Harare woman reportedly lost her job and car for refusing workplace romance with her boss.

Rumbidzai Audrey Muzondo reportedly lost her job for refusing to sexually gratify her boss Fungai Chiposi. The car that was also used as bait for the indecent proposal was also withdrawn. Fungai is the founder and executive trustee of proudly Zimbabwean Foundation where Rumbidzai got a job as Fungai's deputy.

Word is awash at the premium Rainbow Towers Hotel that Fungai even tried to forcefully have a 'feel' of the forbidden fruit. Fungai is not a stranger to grabbing embarrassing headlines. In March last year, My Zimbabwe carried another story 'courtesy of Fungai Chiposi', after he allegedly impregnated a prostitute and starved his own wife of sex, it was alleged.

Fungai however, denied making advances on his employee, Rumbidzai, although he acknowledges that she screamed while she was in his office, drawing the attention of people close by. It seems that after Fungai impregnated a self-confessed Avenues prostitute, Caroline Vangani, he wanted to move on to Rumbidzai.

"Chiposi is punishing me for refusing to have sex with him and we have never been in a relationship. I have since taken him to Labour Relations Department," said Rumbidzai.

Chiposi denied the allegations saying Rumbidzai was dismissed for her unprofessional conduct after she screamed in his office drawing the attention of guests at the Rainbow Towers where PZF is accommodated.

Rumbidzai showed our reporters her dismissal letter ordering her to hand over the Toyota Spacio car and the Samsung Galaxy mobile phone she was using.

"Kindly note that effective immediately, you are no longer an employee of Proudly Zimbabwean Foundation. We would like to make this termination as amiable as possible. As such, we would like you to hand-in the PZF Samsung Galaxy 4 cell phone the Foundation had provided for you to use. We would be delighted if you would sign papers giving rightful custody to PZF of its motor vehicle, Toyota Spacio. As soon as these two things are done, we will be delighted to hand over your salary for the month of August," reads part of the letter terminating Rumbidzai's contract.

Chiposi confirmed dismissing Rumbidzai but not over the sexual advancement claims.

"Yes we have dismissed Rumbidzai for unprofessional conduct that was bound to tarnish the image of the foundation. We worked with her on several projects and got help from her by using her name in clearing the Toyota Spacio car bought for the foundation not for her from South Africa," said Fungai.

The 'boss' said they were working on legal ways of getting the car from her.

"I believe this will lead us to stand before the courts of law after she made a police report leading me to police holding cells over that car," added Fungai.

He said it was Rumbidzai who has insisted on accompanying him to South Africa to purchase the vehicle which was subsequently registered in her name.

"I had no plans to take her with me but she insisted on going with me and I was shocked with her connections with the clearing officials at the border. get me right, I never made any sexual advances on her as she claims," said Fungai.
