Political commentator Rejoice Ngwenya has challenged President Robert Mugabe to listen to the voice of reason and step down from power and go to rest since he is too old to run the country.
Ngwenya who referred to Mugabe as his uncle like the millionaire business man Philip Chiyangwa who was said not to be related to Mugabe by Patrick Zhuwao who is Mugabe's nephew said it is high time the president should have conscience and leave the helm.
"ROBERT MUGABE 'my uncle'?" said Ngwenya. "Here's what Patrick Zhuwao says of me and his uncle, Robert Mugabe: "Phillip Chiyangwa's relationship with the President is the same as that of Rejoice Ngwenya, the opposition activist whose membership of which formation of the multiple MDCs I am not clear of.
"Mugabe is said to be of Gushungo totem, which generally the Karanga / Shona people of Zimbabwe have for a century or so associated with 'Ngwenya' or 'Mokoena'. My grandfather had ALWAYS been referred to as Gushungo, and I was born into that chorus."
"So millionaire pretty boy Phillip Chiyangwa has always been known to be related to Mugabe, while others claim Mugabe actually is of Matibili (Malawi) origins," said Ngwenya. "So if Mugabe is my uncle, he should listen to my 'humble' advice: "Please uncle, go and rest. You are too old, too tired and too everything to be my president!" I am an activist who fights for true democracy - so it is NOT important which side of the coin I fall!"
Mugabe has been accused by many people in the country for staying too long in the helm at the same time for misrule leading to economic crisis that has led many people to migrate to other countries.
