MDC-T top official dies

MDC-T national executive commitee member Silas Matamisa has died.
Matamisa died at Chinhoyi provincial hospital on Wednesday morning, MDC-T national spokesperson Obert Gutu announced.
"The MDC is deeply saddened to announce the sudden and untimely passing on of our national executive committee member," Mr Silas Matamisa.
Mr Matamisa passed on at the Chinhoyi Provincial hospital early this morning.
"He was suffering from diabetes and hypertension. Mr Matamisa was a devoted party cadre and democrat who was deeply committed to the democratic struggle. He was a fine and well-respected gentleman whose wise counsel and wisdom will be sorely missed.
Mourners are gathered at B3318 Gunhill in Chinhoyi. Burial arrangements will be announced in due course. May his departed soul rest in eternal peace'
