13 horrific accident victims named

Police have released names of 13 of the 15 victims who perished in an accident which occurred along the Harare-Nyamapanda highway on Friday last week.
In a statement yesterday, national police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said the victims have been identified as follows:
Fungai Chabvura (34) of Mubweza Village Chief Goronga, Mudzi;
Raymond Mhlanga (33) of Government Clusters, Kotwa;
Wedzerai Taramunda (53) of Tangi Village Chief Goronga, Mudzi;
Nyasha Mudzamiri (22),
Panashe Mudzamiri (1) of House Number 52 Kotwa Location, Kotwa;
Magreth Rovha (52) of Meza Village Chief Goronga, Mudzi;
Mary Nchimbo (2),
Memory Nchimbo (3),
Hazel Nchimbo (2) of Maafuta village Chief Goronga, Mudzi;,
Raymond Nyambabvu (20) of Meza village Chief Mokota, Mudzi;
Farai Manzunzu (15) of house number 306 Kotwa Location, Kotwa;
Gevius Chibvura (22) and
Nigel Chibvura (8) of house number 51 Kotwa Location, Kotwa.
Snr Asst Comm Charamba said two other victims, women aged approximately 55 and 35, are yet to be identified.
"Police are appealing for those who are missing their relatives to proceed to Kotwa Hospital and assist in identifying the remaining bodies," she said.
The accident occurred at the 205km peg along the Harare-Nyamapanda highway near Nyamuwanga Business Centre when a Mazda Bongo carrying members of the African Apostolic Sect (Mwazha) collided with a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter mini-bus.
