Mugabe swears in ZEC commissioners

President Robert Mugabe today swore in six new Zimbabwe Election Commission (ZEC) Commissioners to replace individuals whose term of office came to an end in March 2016.
Interviews were done in May in which 24 candidate where shortlisted.
The six successfully candidates are Joyce Kazembe, Daniel Chigaru, Faith Sebata, Netsai Mushonga, Ngoni Kundidzora and
Sibongile Ndlovu.
Since the turn of the century, Zec has remained a source of conflict among political parties amidst accusations it is biased towards the ruling party.
