Don't be fooled by Mawarire, says Mugabe

President Robert Mugabe has warned Zimbabweans against being deceived by some so-called 'man of the cloth,' who deviate from the true teachings of the religion as espoused in the Bible.

The President made the remarks during the burial of the late national hero, Dr Charles Utete at the national shrine today.

Mugabe who mentioned ThisFlag Pastor Evan Mawarire by name said the man's teachings are alien to religion and this country, while proposing that those who support his antics should leave Zimbabwe and head to those countries sponsoring violent actions.

Recently, Mawarire has been in the media for the wrong reasons, exchanging the pulpit for activism by urging Zimbabweans to protest against the government through his social media campaign.
