Political parties gang up against ZEC

Opposition political parties who have been in recent months watching angry Zimbabweans stage protests over the country's deepening economic situation met to finalize plans to hold a mega demonstration against the Zimbabwe electoral commission in a bid to force reforms ahead of the 2018 elections.

The political parties met in the capital under the auspices of the National Election Reform Agenda and the Coalition of Democrats to map out the strategy for Friday's demonstration.

Morgan Tsvangirai was the notable absentee from the heavyweights who converged in the capital yesterday.
