A BRAVO bus driver appeared in court yesterday seeking maintenance variation downwards from $250 to $50 saying the company had reduced their salaries.

Mr Knowledge Muza dragged his ex-wife Ms Nombulelo Dastele of Nkulumane suburb to the maintenance court saying that he can no longer afford to pay $250 which he was ordered to pay in January.

Muza's salary was reduced from $350 to $265 by the bus company and can't afford to pay rent and cover some of his expenses with $265.

Ms Dastele told Bulawayo Maintenance magistrate Mr Manase Musiiwa that their two children's school fees were more than $50.

Ms Dastele said Mr Muza defaulted paying maintenance in September and he was in $250 arrears.

Mr Musiiwa reduced Mr Muza monthly payments to $150.
