Three cops nabbed over fake roadblock

Three Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) constables were arrested for manning an unsanctioned police road block in Beitbridge rural on Tuesday this week.
Sources close to investigations allege three constables identified as Mahundi (077525q), Makuvaze (072735q) and Nhema (079915S) from Makhakhabule base station were nabbed for manning an unsanctioned road block and undeclared money.
"Three constables were caught manning an unsanctioned police road blocks in the bush area of Makhakhabule Bridge around 9pm on Tuesday.
The cops were searched and Nhema was caught with US$1200 in his pocket while his colleague Mahundi had US$20," said the source.
It was further proved by the police that the books they were using were not booked.
In a related case constable Mugadza (05998) was arrested on 7 December for bringing his private Toyota Regius registration number ADP 4039 to the road block yet he was in his civilian clothes.
