The Mthwakazi Republic Party Secretary General Ackim Mhlanga has lambasted the Zimbabwean first lady Auxillia Mnangagwa for her visit to Bulawayo hospitals during the week, describing the visit as a mockery and unwelcomed.

"We can't have the wife of a man who was the minister of state, responsible for security matters during the Gukurahundi Genocide era, coming all the way to Bulawayo to see if the Gukurahundi had finished us all and to see how many are still recovering from those hospitals"...

"Let us not forget that her husband is on record as having said that the Gukurahundi issue is a none issue and we must let bygones be bygones. We take Auxillia Mnangagwa's visit to Bulawayo as an insult to us the grieving people of Matabeleland who lost relatives who never received any medication from those hospital because they were denied any medication during the time of the atrocities".

Mhlanga went on to ask if that is not the same Mnangagwa who called us coacroches that needed DDT. "My question to Auxillia is very simple and straight forward, where was she when her husband was calling us coacroches?," fumed Mhlanga.

"Who knows maybe she had come to deliver that DDT to our hospitals".

"My message to Auxillia Mnangagwa is very clear, we don't need her visits to our Mthwakazi hospitals, instead she should be visiting the mass graves scattered all over Matabeleland and witness the brutality of her husband".

"She came and saw, and am sure she is happy now after seeing that over 90% of the staff in our hospitals are shona speaking". Said Mhlanga.

Mthwakazi Republic Party is a political party based in Matabeleland advocating for the restoration of Matabeleland state as it used to be before 1923.
