Missing tourist may have plunged self in Vic Falls gorges - police update

A Bulawayo man is suspected to have thrown himself into one of Victoria Falls gorges on Sunday.
Police in Hwange today said they cannot rule out suicide but his body has not been found.
"At the moment we cannot completely rule out suicide and that the man was possessed by evil spirits" a police spokesperson Siphiwe Makonese said.
She said police are still searching. Tinashe Chitambo of Sunninghill suburb is said to have disappeared in the Victoria Falls rain forest after having lunch with his sister.
According to Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management, Chitambo was last seen loitering close to the gorges.
"After lunch Tinashe decided to have another tour of the falls leaving behind his sister.
Afterwards a client came to the entrance gate and reported to the security ranger that he had seen a man loitering around the falls" national parks said in a statement.
