Ibhetshu likaZulu blasts Obert Mpofu

Ibhetshu LIkaZulu Official Mbuso Fuzwayo has attacked Umguza legislator Obert Mpofu over claims that he does not know Chief Nhlanhla Ndiweni, the son of late Ndebele paramount Chief Khayisa Ndiweni, a move perceived as similar to saying he does not recognise him as a Chief.
Mpofu was quoted in the Sunday News as saying he only knows two chiefs in his constituency, Chief Ndondo and Chief Deli.
According to the publication Mpofu went on to say he does not know Chief Ndiweni.
Fuzwayo warned Mpofu to remember that his position as MP is a voted one but the Cheif is not voted for.
"Obert is an elected person, it is the people who fall under Chief Ndiweni who must recognise Ndiweni, Obert in 2018 must wake up an ordinary person if not elected by the people of Ntabazinduna," Fuzwayo said.
"MPs come and go but Chiefs are there for long. He must be wise and make no such careless statements."
