Mutasa and Gumbo duping Mujuru on Zimbabwe People First Project
08 Mar 2016 at 10:19hrs | Views
The expelled former ZANU-PF members, Didymus Mutasa and Rugare Gumbo, are a confused duo that is poised to dupe the embattled former Vice President, Joyce Mujuru, who faced the same fate during the same period. In reality, the two are ZANU-PF cadres at heart, despite their hypocritical gestures that they now claim to belong to the newly formed political movement, dubbed Zimbabwe People First (ZPF), fronted by Mujuru. They are still sweating in their efforts to re-bounce into ZANU-PF desperately.
Recently, they were frothing in court, challenging their expulsions which pierced them to the bone marrow as it left an indelible dent on their political careers whose doom is inevitable.
Meanwhile, the couple is under fire from ordinary citizens, some of whom angrily express that, ‘Those two are so silly and foolish, and they should come out in the open and tell us which political organisation they want to be affiliated with. One day they are said to have formed People's First, tomorrow they want to go back to ZANU-PF. It is all clear now that they are playing with our emotions and can't be trusted at all.'
The simple point is that if they really want to pursue their intentions, which they falsely declared to the public in recent weeks, they could have recognized that their court challenge is superseded by events, and they should believe in their new political project, unless if they are not mentally lucid. They have pioneered the formation of a new political party whose ideology is fighting that of the party they used to defend. However, they have lost faith in this loosely framed project too soon after discovering how weak it is, that it cannot even challenge the ruling revolutionary party successfully.
If all was well with their sanity, they should just cancel their High Court hearing request, and concentrate on their new formation, because they will be just adding more and more embarrassment to their tainted public images if they continue seeking to be heard. No sane individual can be a member of two political parties as expected under the principle of one man one vote.
Otherwise Mutasa and Gumbo are suffering from senility problems which obscure their sound judgment. Or its high time that they should hang the boots and leave the political games ton those that are capable, and stop confusing us in the political arena.
