The Warriors have finally left the country to Cameroon en-route Ethiopia for Afcon tournament.
They are expected to play Cameroon in a friendly match before connecting to Gabon.
The squad has been forced to travel in batches due to the limited seats available on flights and are flying to Ethiopia before connecting to Cameroon.
One batch left in the morning with another departing this afternoon.
Striker Tendai Ndoro tweeted this afternoon saying "Off to ADDIS ABABA #AFCON2017".
ZIFA communications manager told Xolisan Gwesela is quoted saying "I can confirm that two batches have managed to leave while a third will travel later today".
Warriors preparations have not been smooth sailing with money disputes dominating the headlines.
The players threatened to boycott the games if Zifa fail to honor its pledge.
After an intense standoff, a deal was ironed out early yesterday morning with Zifa agreeing to pay a $5 000 appearance fee for every group game and a winning bonus of $6 000.
The agreement was reached after an embarrassing incident which saw the team boycotting a send off reception organised for them by the Ministry of Sport and Recreation on Friday night.
