Highlanders FC Supporters Club (UK) Fund Raising

The United Kingdom chapter of Highlanders FC will be hosting a fund raising event in Wakefield on the 4th Of August 2012. The event, which is intended to raise funds for some of the Bulawayo club's training equipment, will take place at The Pineapple Pub, 320 Wakefield Road, WF1 5RT.
There will be an entry fee of £10 at the door, with some free beverages. The event will be packed with various activities and supporters are urged to come in large numbers to meet former Bosso players, officials and fellow supporters. With the activities kicking off at 9pm, top DJ's have also been lined up to entertain visitors.

The supporters association will also hold a general meeting during the last week of September and the details of the meeting will be sent to members and advertised in the media. The Highlanders FC Executive commitee in Bulawayo is aware of the associations' plans and activities.
In May 2010, the UK association donated 35 training balls, 10 match balls, a first aid kit, training cones, goalkeepers' gloves as well as numerous other accessories.
