The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (Zinara) is scrapping 100% penalty fees on vehicle licence arrears as part of a festive season promotion.
Zinara is waiving all penalty fees for motorists who settle outstanding vehicle licence arrears during a special promotion running from December 8 to December 15, 2025.
Zinara officially announced the festive season vehicle licensing promotion, confirming that motorists who clear their arrears within the promotion period will not be charged any accumulated penalties. In addition to the penalty waiver, Zinara is also offering a 25% discount on current vehicle licence renewals over the same period.
To improve accessibility and ease congestion at licensing offices, Zinara has deployed mobile vehicle licensing teams across the country to facilitate on-the-spot renewals and payments during the promotion.
Motorists have been encouraged to take advantage of the limited-time offer and to rely on official Zinara communication channels for accurate information, as authorities continue to warn against fraudulent messages circulating online.
The festive season promotion is expected to provide financial relief to motorists while boosting compliance ahead of the end of the year.
