Highlanders' fast improving forward line could prove pivotal in helping the Bulawayo giants register their first league win against Dynamos in nine years, when the two sides clash in a Castle Lager Premiership match in Harare on Sunday.

With the season nearing the half-way mark, both giants have punched well below their weight so far with Dynamos looking to emerge from a nightmarish run which has seen them win only two matches amid growing calls for the departure of coach David Mandigora.

Highlanders on the other hand have not fared any better. Sitting four points behind their great rivals in eighth place with thirteen matches played. But Bosso coach Bongani Mafu can take heart from the improving form of forwards Obadiah Tarumbwa and Knox Mtizwa, whose energy and sharpness upfront have raised hopes of resurgence at Bosso.

After struggling to locate for goals for much of the season Highlanders have scored five in their three games and all have come from seasoned striker Obadiah Tarumbwa and rising star Knox Mtizwa.

Tarumbwa's early season momentum was disrupted by injury, but he has since regained his sharpness after a consistent run of games and his combination with Mtizwa has been telling.

Young Mtizwa had an inconsistent outing last season but he seems to have regained his self-belief and won over coach Bongani Mafu in the process. He has scored three goals in his side's last three matches while his industry on the wing has also caused all sorts of problems for opponents.

Young King Nadolo has also been improving after recovering from his own injury woes and with former Bantu Rovers midfielder Nqobizitha Masuku and Thomas Chideu also in the mix, Highlanders are suddenly looking promising.

Dynamos on the other hand have been lethargic and they could suffer a reverse on Sunday that could further complicate things for Coach David Mandigora.
