FMH Academy stun Highlanders

FMH Academy so impressive this season shocked all and sundry when they stunned Champions elect Highlanders Academy 2-0. Talented Bright "Nyonyo" Dzowa and Pride Moyo were the chief destroyers of Highlanders Roller Coaster with an immaculate display. This impressive result by the Famona based side comes hard on the heels of another stunner as they sent Bantu Rovers to the cleaners the previous weekend with a similar scoreline dug deep from the echelons of their hard work this season.
Across town Ajax Hotspurs all but condemned hapless BSE Academy to the unfashionable Serie B Pool B league with a 4-0 thumping of the Magwegwe North based side. Lanky Prince "Mpinju" Hlabangane continued with his purple patch with an opener. Defender Frank Muzii, goalkeeper Vincent "Mboma" Chidembo and Mthabisi "Mpesto" Ncube were the other players on target for the Mpopoma based Ajax Hotspurs.
Cowdray Park's Amalanda F.C dragged the drumsticks boys Chicken Inn nearly into abyss with a commanding display in the two sides relegation dog-fight with 1-0 wins in the under 14s and under 18s. Chickenn Inn won where it matters most in the under 16s age group 2-1.
Black Boots were relegated from Serie A league when they succumbed to E.M Sports in their own den falling 3-1 to Eddie Mukahanana's Sotshangane Flats boys in the under 14s and under 18s age groups. The two sides shared the spoils 1-1 in the under 16s.
Blundering Ajax Hotspurs under 16s continued their surrender of the crown with a pathetic show as they for the fourth time in a row failed to collect maximum points. The reigning champions drew 2-2 with Bantu Rovers after Rovers were 2-0 down deep into injury time but played a Houdini Act to level the scores within a space of a minute. This was followed by 2-0 loss to Highlanders before they again let Chicken Inn come 2-0 down to draw 2-2. In yesterday's match the champions were leading 2-1 with Samson Madamombe and Perfect Chauke having given the champions hope until the last game but Tafadzwa Sinyoro and Desire Mukumbirofa had other ideas as they all but dashed any hopes the defending champions had of defending their coveted title. Ten year old Nyasha Garayi could have won it for the champions at the death but the Nkulumane Primary School whiz kid's scorcher hit the horizontal bar with the BSE Academy gloves man Nyabusha on the wrong end of action. Ajax's hopes were rocked.
In the under 14s, ten(10) year old Nyasha Garayi was the star attraction finding the opener for Ajax Hotspurs before creating for Tamuka Moyo and Mthabisi Hlabangane to record a 3-0 victory. Bantu Rovers were roving as they sent Pumula East Academy with a four-goal salvo without any reply.
