Despite being arch-enemies who have been embroiled in one of South Africa's longest standing feuds, AKA and Cassper's political stance is one of a united front.

As thousands of South Africans continue to make their way to voting polls across the country for the much-anticipated local government elections, hip-hop fans will be pleased to know that their icons will both be voting for the ruling party.

AKA has been incredibly vocal and active about rallying behind the ANC in the lead up to the elections.

However, Cassper has been relatively silent on his political stance until a few hours before voting polls opened. Taking to social media on Tuesday night, Cassper revealed that he was recently involved in an alleged racist incident, which resulted in him speaking out about voting for the ANC.

"I'd a racist encounter at the airport the other day. I cried and I almost got into a fight. It was such a painful experience. I almost got into a fight because I'll not tolerate racism," Cassper tweeted.

The rapper explained that the incident made him think about what his parents went through before 1994
