Moya Wami, Yekintokozo and Calvary are some of the songs that instantly come to mind when one talks of Makhabane. His songs are full of heart-felt lyrics and  a rhythm that carries the eternal message of going to heaven. Joyous Celebration, South Africa's most successful gospel ensemble, is scheduled to perform in Zimbabwe for the first time on the same show. This year the group will be celebrating its 15th anniversary.

The group commands a huge following in gospel circles and most of its lead singers have made it on the international scene. Local fans will get a feel of its live performances. Joyous Celebration sings a wide variety of gospel tracks, from traditional to contemporary Christian music, with a dash of some celebratory praise and worship songs.

The choir, popularly known within gospel circles with their hit track Lord I lift your Name, and comprising vibrant stars such as Uche of the My God is Good fame, will be coming with more than 50 of their finest members.  Some of the best local gospel artistes that will be performing as supporting acts at this show include the trendy gospel outfit Mahendere Brothers, elusive Pastor G, Tafadzwa Sadindi and Baba naMai Charamba.

Gospel diva Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave, who has released several chart-topping albums since breaking on the music scene in the latest 1990s, will also be part of the line-up.

An official at TN Bank said this will be a gospel show to remember as they celebrate the launch of their branches countrywide.
