Orchestra Mberikwazvo boss Alick Macheso bragged about buying a stand for each of his 27 member band.
Addressing his legions of fans in Mvurwi on Wednesday Macheso said he was after giving his band members a heritage that would last for the next generation.
"You see these guys there are 27 and each now owns a stand which is a heritage for the generation to come.
One day your children will ask you especially you Majuice what did you do with these guitars, you should simply give them keys and say that is your heritage from guitars," he shouted on stage.
The prodigal son Jonas Kasamba also got another stand apart from a house he got from Macheso in Chitungwiza.
He is remorseful for ditching Macheso for the now defunct Extra Kwazvose together with Obert Gomba and Noel Nyazanda who were labelled rebels after their departure at Ochestra Mberikwazvo.
The band members now sing a song heaping praise on their pay master whom they call a man of God who identified their talent before employing them to have a better life.
"Baba Sharo Alick Macheso munhu waMwari akaona zvipo zvedu zviri mumagitare akatipa basa zvedu zvadzora!" goes the song.
